如何用东北大米做面包?
Ingredients:
- 1.5 kg (3.3 lbs) Northeast Chinese big rice flour
- 100 g (3.5 oz) active dry yeast
- 1 tsp (5 ml) salt
- 1 tbsp (15 ml) vegetable oil
- 100 g (3.5 oz) water
Instructions:
-
Prepare the dough:
- In a large bowl, combine the flour, yeast, and salt.
- Add the vegetable oil and water to the bowl and mix well.
- Add the flour mixture to the bowl and mix until a soft and slightly sticky dough forms.
- If the dough is too dry, add a little more water, 1 tablespoon at a time, until it reaches a soft and elastic consistency.
- Form the dough into a ball, cover it with plastic wrap, and let it rest for 30 minutes at room temperature.
-
Knead the dough:
- On a lightly floured surface, knead the dough for 10-15 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic.
- Add a little more water if the dough is too dry, or a little more flour if it is too sticky.
-
Let the dough rise:
- Cover the dough with plastic wrap and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour, or until it doubles in size.
-
Punch down and divide:
- After the dough has risen, punch it down to release the air.
- Divide the dough into 8 equal pieces.
- Roll out each piece of dough into a thin sheet, about 0.5 mm (0.02 in) thick.
-
Cook the bread:
- Heat a large pot of water to 90°C (194°F).
- Drop the dough pieces into the boiling water for 3-5 minutes, or until they float to the surface.
- Remove the bread from the water with a slotted spoon and drain on a wire rack.
-
Bake the bread:
- Preheat your oven to 220°C (430°F).
- Bake the bread for 15-20 minutes, or until it is golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped.
-
Serve and enjoy:
- Serve the freshly baked bread warm with butter or your favorite toppings.
Tips:
- For a more flavorful bread, add 1 tablespoon of sesame oil or peanut oil to the dough.
- You can also add other toppings, such as chopped vegetables, cheese, or meat.
- If the dough is too dry, add a little water, 1 tablespoon at a time.
- If the dough is too sticky, add a little flour, 1 tablespoon at a time.
