如何制作玉米大骨汤?
Ingredients:
- 2 lbs (907 g) of ground corn
- 8 cups (20 L) of water
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 carrots, diced
- 2 celery stalks, diced
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp (5 ml) of black peppercorns
- 1 tsp (5 ml) of salt
- 1 tsp (5 ml) of dried oregano
- 1 tsp (5 ml) of dried thyme
- 1 tsp (5 ml) of dried basil
- 1 tsp (5 ml) of dried parsley
Instructions:
- In a large pot, combine the ground corn, water, onion, carrots, celery, garlic, black peppercorns, salt, oregano, thyme, and basil.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and simmer for 1 hour, or until the corn is tender and all the liquid has been absorbed.
- Season to taste with additional salt or black pepper, if desired.
- Serve hot with a side of crusty bread.
Tips:
- For a richer soup, use all of the vegetables available.
- You can also add other vegetables, such as potatoes or green beans.
- If you don't have fresh herbs, you can use dried herbs.
- Serve with a dollop of sour cream or Greek yogurt for a creamy and tangy finish.
